Vczrszfy Football FIRST ROW: Bob Acheson, Ed Heacock, Collin Edwards, Keith Thompson, Dave Kirk, Dick Remaklus, Rocky Rhodes, Joe Dorris, Jesse Maine, Allen Romine, Terry Gestrin. SECOND ROW: Coach Dan Cantrell, Manager Dana Seydel, Jim Klott, Dave Watkins, Bill Florence, Jim Petersen, Steve Loomis, Kim Berheim, Mike Graham, Rich Nesbitt, Ken Adair, Coach Kirk Dahlke, Coach Mike Thomas. Vandals moved up a league and played in the larger SRV A-3 conference during the 1969 football campaign, Despite the stronger competition, the team fared well with a 3-5-1 record, Dave Kirk and Keith Thompson were captains of this year's team. Each week was highlighted by a P1ayer of the Week award with the coaches selecting the out- standing player, Joe Dorris, Rocky Rhodes, Dick Remaklus, Dave Kirk, Jim Petersen, Dave Watkins, and Bill Florence received this honor during the season. This award and the team's dedication kept the spirit of the team very high throughout the season, Vandals start the game with their usual determination and desire.
