3 .ftudentr Receive Awards' Linda Cruickshank and Greg Boos receive this year's American Legion Awards from Chief Corbiel, Rotary Award presented on the basis of outstanding scholarship, citizenship, is a S100 scholarship given to a senior boy or girl by the McCall Rotary Club. The award was presented to Pam Zachary by Bill Kirk. Sixteen outstanding girls were chosen from the Girls' Club this year. They were selected by the members of the club on the basis of their contributions to the school. They are, SEATED: Jan Albright, Linda Cruickshank, Luella Ernst, Ann Cochrane, Bonnie Fogg, Pam Zachary. STANDING: Carolyn Them, Marsha Webb, Shanon Boos, Toni Lewin, Yavonna Davis, Annabel Newcomer, Sandy Hoss, Sue Burgess, Karlene Bayok. Pam Lawrence. fl,-Q J 1mmn 1lii -aA President of Honor Society, Tom Zachary, and the advisor, Mrs. Zachary awarded the Honor Society Scholarship to Cliff Scheline. Ron Watkins, son of a Boise- Cascade employee, was se- lected to receive the McCall mill's 51,500 scholarship. l l An outstanding science student award given only every four years by Bausche and Lombe was presented to Mike Webb by science instructor Walter Them.

Dan Kantola was crowned Vandal King at the annual Pep Club Dance. Princes were Mike Webb, Floyd Loomis, and not pictured, Tom Zachary and George Dorris. The candidates were selected and voted on by the members of Pep Club. new Jim Petersen finds that study really isn't that Busy Schedule Close: har l 3 , Xxx M VW-,Aff The Quantum Theory is not only good for energy transfer but the models of the atoms also make good ear rings, as Sue Lappens finds out. She ,was one of the many owners of projects at the annual Science Fair, sponsored by the Science Club, hard if he puts his mind to it. Senior Terry Lappen rejoices in the fact that this is the last year he will have to clean his locker.
