The Vandaleer is issued twice a month and includes not only highlights of school news, but special features, and alumni briefs. Because of conflicts with other school events, only a few staff members were able to attend this year's journalism conference at the University of Idaho. Helping the Vandaleer staff with publications are Mr. Bruce Campbell and Miss Gayle Gregory. TALENT 6' 0W They may never get to Broadway, but students who took part in the annual Thespian-sponsored talent show had all the excitement of an opening night when they presented Show Boat, May 7. A number of variety acts, ranging from trampoline and twirling exhibitions, to vocal selections and readings, were performed against a river-boat backdrop. Floyd Loomis and Russ Moltke were Masters -of-Ceremonies for the production. Other participants were: Kristy Koskella, Pam Zachary, Esperanza Tapia, Donna Willis, Annabel Newcomer, Lynn DeFrancesco, Janet Jarvis, Luann Cox, Pat Shaw, Carol Davis, Niki Eld, Maxine Tomas, Jeanne Helmich, Janice Yensen, Wilamena Seydel, and Skip Rowland. Card girl: Janet Jarvis D ULAMAT ON District and regional declamation contests were entered by several McCall-Donnelly students during ' . Floyd Loomis and Russ Moltke as the ear. Students earnin a y . . . . Masters-of-Ceremonies. Superior rating in the district event went on to regional competition. Entries included Pam Zachary and David Jones. David also received an excellent in State competition with his original essay. Other students participating in the competition were: Jeanne Helmich, Janet Jarvis, Judy Gilbert, Tom Wukash, Butch Vaughan, and Skip Rowland. Mrs. Kay Parkinson coached the students and accompanied them to the contests.

Under the direction of editor Dan Kirk, six section heads have spent the school year collecting pictures and information about school life to include in this year's annual.
