VANDALFTTF5' Brightly colored pom-poms, crisp new uniforms, and ex- uberant spirits, announced the arrival of an enlarged and altered Drill Team. The Vandalettes featured a change-over from baton-twirling to formation marching and dance-step routines. The membership was also enlarged to twenty-one girls, each of whom must be able to perform marching basics. The purpose of Vandalettes is to provide half-time enter- tainment for sports spectators at home games. Climaxing the basketball season the Vandalettes traveled to Wilder showing their support for the Vandals with an excellent half- time performance. Each year, the Vandalettes raise money to send their cap- tains to a summer drill team training camp. ' . 5515. 'mf V? V f - ,.:w ',-3-ff'?3 f Sf.' f .. ,-..
