UM 805121261 CZ mfwtwt Page Two 9 C4 Throughout the centuries, there has always been a place in the minds of human beings for a man who is a leader and a perfect example of their ideals. To many here' at McBride, Father William Morris filled this unoccupied place in their minds. Father Morris's keen understanding of boys, his helpful suggestions to those who required or sought his advice, and his sincerity in teaching, won innumerable friends for him during his comparatively short stay at McBride. A former McBride graduate, and ordained in Fribourg, Switzerland, in 1938, Father Morris came to McBride in January of 1940 and left last March for Lima, Peru, to join other members of the Society in the field of mission- ary work. The Senior class of 1941 in a vain attempt to show our gratitude for his services, are proud to dedicate this issue of The Colonnade to one so deserv- ing of the honor. We wish Father Morris all the success possible in his new Held of work, and sincerely hope that some day he will return to the portals of McBride. D e cl i c a t i o n Rev. William Morris, S M
