Along with the time and effort invested by the committee responsible for the program's success came quite a few quizzical stares. Those passing by the loose-leaf-paper-trimmed lockers next to the library often did not hesitate to raise an eyebrow or two; but this was the closest thing to computer processing available to the commit- tee in charge of arrangements. A sheet of paper for each course and tour was arranged alphabetically 0n the lockers and, one by one, each student was more or less rationed into her respective categories. Senior Retreat e January 26-30 Each year McAuley High School sends four groups of senior girls to Maria Stein Retreat House in Maria Stein, Ohio. This year was a little different. Instead Of four groups going, only two went, but the first one was the only group fortunate enough to have a retreat. As the second group was on its way to Maria Stein, they turned back when they arrived in Piqua, Ohio. It just so happened that the great snow of '77 also struck during the time of retreats. The first group of girls was snowed-in by unclear roads and large snow drifts. The first retreat, up to that point, had worked for many hours with their retreat leaders, but as soon as the news broke about being marooned, it was all fun and games. The girls remembered their full-day stay at Maria Stein as an unreal experience. We began with bits and pieces of ideas, each person having fragments of thoughts and feelings to contribute.
