The ingenu- ity of the teachers provide for an interesting and profitable class for all concerned. Sister Mary Roger firmly believes that reading as- signments aid her pupils in understanding what is said in the classroom. She also utilizes group work in her classes so that the students have a chance to help one- another and themselves. Mrs. Barbara DeMars, a graduate ofthe University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Edu- cation, is another fan of the group study idea. Mrs. DeMars uses extra reports to keep her students aware of the uses of mathematics in the world today. Among the activities that keep Mrs. DeMars oc- cupied after school hours are serving as advisor to the Tennis Team. She is also active in the Alumnae or- ganization at the University. MRS.
