MR. CAMERON HEADS ANOTHER SUPERB GUIDANCE YEAR As head of our Guidance Department, Mr. Gibson Cameron works hand in hand with the students of M. H.S. in planning for the future. A former science teacher, Mr. Cameron has earned degrees from Central College in Fayette, Missouri, and St. Louis University in St. Louis. He continued his ex- tensive education at Barry College, Murray State Col- lege, and the University of Missouri. VVhen his many jobs as guidance counselor are laid aside for the day, Mr. Cameron enjoys relaxing with a round of golf or game of bridge. MCARTHUR WELCOMES MISS PRICE Roman archeology, sports, traveling, and a collie named Alexandra fill the spare hours of McArthur's newest guidance counselor, Miss Patricia Price. Miss Price attended the University of Missouri, where she received her Masters, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Education. She also went to the Universities of Colorado and New Mexico. In her fifth year of counseling, the former science teacher is also sponsor of the National Honor Society. MRS. WAGNER EVER FAITHFUL Students, students, students! replied Mrs. Aurelia Wagner when asked her main interests. Students also play the major role in her job as McArthur guidance counselor. As holder of both B.A. and M.S. degrees, Mrs. Wag- ner has attended D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York, and Barry College in Miami. She has also taken extension courses at the University of Florida. She previously taught in Eric County, New York, and at West Hollywood Elementary. A former New Yorker, Mrs. Wagner is presently in her seventh year at McArthur High. 9

MR. AARON UPHOLDS MALE CONDUCT Experienced in elementary, high school, and college level education, Mr. Lloyd B. Aaron has served as Dean of Boys at McArthur since 1958. His varied background includes 17 years of teaching in Pennsylvania and Flor- ida, 7 years in the business world, and 5 years in the Armed Forces. Mr. Aaron earned his degrees at Clarion State Teachers' College and Barry College. At present, he is a night instructor at Broward Junior College, the ninth school at which he has taught. When not busy upholding the rules and traditions of McArthur, our dean may often be found fishing or work- ing in his garden. MRS. NORTON HANDLES DISTAFF SIDE Completing her thirty-fifth year in education is Mrs. Grace Norton, M.H.S. dean of girls. Before joining McArthur's staff seven years ago, Mrs. Norton taught at schools in various parts of Florida. In her position, our respected dean does a com- mendable job. She has the responsibility of seeing that traditions of conduct of discipline are upheld. Attendance procedures also come under her jurisdiction. Mrs. Norton holds both her A.B. and M.A. degrees from Florida State University. 8 MR. SIMON A KEEPS OUTSTANDING REPUTATION Officially, Mr. Bernard Simon, Assistant Principal, defines himself the co-ordinator between faculty, stu- dents and administration. Unofficially, however, his varied activities can hardly be defined. Mr. Simon received his B.S. degree from City Col- lege, New York, where he was graduated in 1935. He attained his Master of Arts degree and also his Profes- sional Diploma from the Teacher's College at Colum- bia University. Corning to MHS in 1956, he was one of the original faculty members.
