PRINCIPAL Alfred G. Ryll Mr. Ryll addresses Student Council on important school matters. fi The progress McArthur High School has made since its inception seven years ago is due largely to the efforts of our capable principal, Mr. Alfred G. Ryll. Mr. Ryll has worked continously with community leaders to aid McArthur, cooperated with our student leaders, and has assisted students in any possible way. Our distinguished principal is directly responsible for our fine stadium, our school fight song which he wrote, and he is a never-failing supporter of all Mustang activities. Mr. Ryll holds degrees from Northwestern Univer- sity and Western State Teachers College. He has also attended Florida State University, Barry College, and the University of Florida. Off the campus this civic-minded citizen is an ar- dent church supporter, a lodge participant, and a mem- ber of various educational groups. Before coming to McArthur, he was principal at West Hollywood Elementary and also taught at Holly- wood Central. Mr. Ryll's great spirit and pride in our school have motivated the student body so that today McArthur is recognized as one of the outstanding high schools in the South. 7
