SENIORS SPLASH AT V PARTY AND LUNCHEON -JUNE 5, 1963 All was quiet. The sunlight danced upon the calm, serene water of the pool. In a moment the complacency was shattered as a cry was heard-a shout which echoed, Last one in is a Sophomore. Over 400 eager seniors plunged excitedly into the cool, refreshing water. This was the scene at the Hallandale City Park on June 5. To make everything perfect, a tempting, delicious luncheon was served. Fried chicken, baked beans, slaw, bread, potato chips, ice cream, and coke made this luncheon most delightful. When the splash party drew to a close, the seniors left the park Wishing that all the fun they shared today could last forever. These seniors really swing! Basketball, pyramids, swimming and fun reigned at the senior splash party. 4- A 525 n , ,,- .

Couples wheel around the floor SENIORS FALL FOR SKATING PARTY - JUNE 6, 1963 Laughing, a bruised and battered senior pulled himself from the floor and happily skated onward. This picture was seen many times at the Senior Skating Party on June 6 at the Johnson Street Skating Arena. As the happy arrivals entered the arena, enthusiasm was at its height. However, some were disappointed when the supply of skates dwindled down to odd sizes that would not fit. Eventually, almost everyone had his turn on the floor. Different activities were included during the wond- erful hours from 9 a.m. to noon: Boy and girl relay races, dancing triplet skating, and other fabulous events. Indeed, the Skating Party was a barrel of fun. The blisters, bumps and bruises, will be remembered for a long, long, time. One enthusiastic senior said, 'Tll never forget the fun I had today.
