JUNIOR PROM INTERNATIONAL TOUR Dancing, laughing, and plain old fun could easily describe the night of May 4 when the Junior Prom made its successful entry into the lives of all who were present. The gala occasion lasted from 8-11:30 p.m. Re- freshments were served and plenty of entertainment was provided. Can-Can girls, Haitian Dancers, and Spanish Senori- . . . We did the Hully Gully. Juniors sit this one out. tas, highlighted the International Tour, A piano solo by john Mallow also added laudable entertainment as he played Marian The enchantment of Ed BarroW's six-piece band added all the more to this memorable evening. Yes, the Junior Prom will live in the hearts of all as an event never to be forgotten. Magic well makes wishes come true.

Marryin' Sam welcomed couples during the even- ing and performed 200 wedding ceremonies. Coach Hartman, head of the Monogram Club, which sponsored the festivities, commented that this yearis dance was the most successful ever held. . . I now pronounce you man and wife. : M.. COSTUME BALL Students, masquerading as martians, ghosts, space- men, bubble girls, and even Fidel Castro, were seen entering the gymnasium on October 27, 1962, to attend the Costume Ball. The Drill Corps' sponsored dance, the first one of the year, featured a Halloween theme complete with a spook house, harvest moon, and flying witches. Music was sponsored by the Escotsf' Profits from the evening affair helped to purchase uniforms for the Corps. The band played on.

JUNIOR CLASS PLAY THE CURIOUS SAVAGE Mirror, mirror in my hand, who's the fairest in the land? Set in a fashionable mental institution, this year's Iunior Class play dealt with the activities of Mrs. Ethel P. Savage, an eccentric but rich old lady, commited by her selfish children. The guests and staff of The Cloisters befriend Mrs. Savage, and when her fortune disappears, all are suspected. This combination of mystery, humor and drama, when mixed well, created a fast moving and highly absorbing production.
