SECOND ROW: Karen Vathauer, Laura Corn, Janet Olivi, Paula Drady, Carolyn Davis, MHS INAUGURATES TUTORING SERVICE Providing a tutoring service was the main project of the National Honor Society this year. Members gave their time to students wishing to improve their grades. Under the leadership of Miss Pricem the club served as guides for college night representatives. Besides accepting the responsibility for the upkeep of the Valedictorian-Salutatorian plaque, the NHS awarded a scholarship to a deserving senior and awarded individual plaques. Their busy schedual was interrupted for a Christmas party before vacation. In March, new members were inducted at a special assembly and a reception was held afterward for them and their parents.
