BAND GAINS NEW DIRECTOR Spirit, enthusiasm, and talent characterized Mc- Arthur's Marching Band. Led by Director Donald DRUM MAJOR AL SERGEL Bradley, the group marched its way through the foot- ball season and also provided tl1e necessary pep at the basketball games. Long hours of rehearsal necessitated students stay- ing for tedious evenings of practice. The extra time was compensated for in the entertaining half-time shows they provided at each of McArthur's home games. School-wide and class assemblies were also enhanced by the music that the band supplied. At both the Christmas Assembly and Chorale Sing a jovial spirit was evident because of the musicians' efforts. The band provided colorful halftimes.
