FTA SELLS PINS Selling M pins to promote school spirit was a big project of the F. T. A. McArthur students were seen Wearing the bright green pins at all football and basketball games. Early in the year all classes were shown the movie Is Smoking Worth Itf, The club sponsored the successful program. ' Members Worked at the elementary school and taught classes. They also did work for the Dean's and Guidance office after school. F. T. A. presented S25 to a Worthy senior member for college books. Besides giving several teas this year, the busy :lub kept up bulletin boards, did typing for Pegasus, clerical work, wrote senior prom invitations, and aided teachers. The students also performed such community serv- ices as teaching Sunday school, baby-sitting, and enter- taining at Florida State Mental Hospital.
