The group aided the National Childrenis Cardiac Hospital in collecting funds and donations. Christmas found the girls aiding a needy family with food, clothing and gifts. Also in keeping with the yuletide season they sold attractive corsages. The Sinawiks repeated their annual Easter project. Several members Cincluding Easter bunny, Carolyn Fazioj visited various children's organizations with eggs and candy. The club helped promote school spirit with their pennant project and also their Pep Pops . The girls kept the school bulletin boards decorated throughout the year. They also participated in the women faculty- Sinawik game.

' TRI-I-ll-Y WINS SERVICE CLUB AWARD For the second time Tri-Hi-Y- Was voted service club of the year by the Student Council. The girls went on to win. the countv top-club award sponsered by the Fort Lauderdale YMCA. The 28 members started the year with a car wash to raise money for a needy family. They took food baskets to the familv on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The girls also sent Easter cards to patients at a rest home and Visited a Cuban kindergarten with dyed eggs, candy, and cookies. SWEETHEART DON KING Other proiects of the busy club were maintaining their Mile of Penniesv to aid the Library, giving the flag salute and Bible readings in the morning. and moni- tering at home basketball games and the teachers, park- ing lot. Linda Rollins and Paula Drady attended the Youth in Government Conference. During the vear members also attended the Officers, Training Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Passion Plav, and Pre-Legislative Confer- ence at Miami Military Academy. Tri-Hi-Y girls decorated the Christmas trees in the cafeteria again this year and held a cake walk at the YMCA Circus. 'I40
