 . a m. rsi-K DEDICA TION We the Senior Class of 1949 dedicate this, our Year Book, to our parents, the Faculty, the Superintendent, and the Mercer County Board of Education. Our first thoughts go to our parents, who have sacri- ficed so much for us. You shaped our lives for us when we were small. You have instilled in our minds the higher ideals of life. You now encourage us to not let this be the end, but only the beginning of our education. To you we shall ever be grateful. A great amount of our success goes to the faculty, They have encouraged us to study and get the most out of our school days. They have taught us that it pays to be truthful, honest and upright in all things. They have tried to teach us to set our goal high and then strive to reach it. We trust that in the future the Faculty may be able to say, “Well Done” Class of 1949. To the County Superintendent and the Mercer Coun- ty Board of Education we would like to say we appreciate all you have done for us. Because of the opportunities you have given us, we feel that we will be better able to take our place in an unsettled world. Indeed, when we stop and count the opportunities that lie before us and then think of all those who have helped us, we feel that the least we can do is to make the most of every opportunity.
