This season was rewarding for the Junior Varsity Football team, their record was six wins and one loss. Their success has come about mainly because of their teamwork and determination. The J.V. had and kept the right attitude. Much of their great season can be contributed to the strong play of our offense and defensive lines. Running Laps Mayville 0. . . . Ubly 7 Mayville 6. . . . JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL First row: R. Tomlison, D. Mitchell, G. TerBush, J. Woem, B. Barkowska, G. Stout, G. Johnson. Second row: R. Haskin, J. Shephard, B. Hunt, T. Marlow, S. Tait, G. Hobson, L. Fryers (Manager), Mr. MacGregor (Coach). The Junior Varsity Basketball team for 1968-1969 wound up with an unimpressive 2-13 season. However the box score was not a real indicator of the time and effort that the boys put into their preparation. If they learned one thing from this season, it was that you don’t give up just because you have a handicap or you don’t quit just because you are behind. Because that is what these boys did not do, give up or quit. They won their last game. FRESHMAN BASKETBALL J.V. Scores Mayville 51. . . . Akron Fair grove 74 Mayville 71. . . .
