Ohmer, C. Grimshaw, A. Wells, J. Meyer, Crisscross Formation The Marching Band We wish to take this opportunity to pay tribute to all our Mayville Bands, and especially the Senior Band, for having brought recognition and credit to our school. Our Marching Band compared favorably with any band observed throughout the year. The Marching Season was high- lighted by the Homecoming Show, which featured the usual fine precision marching, ultra violet light, flares, fireworks, and flashlights. This show was the talk of our area for many weeks following. Our Concert Band received two Ifsn and two II's at the District Band Festival, despite a fine and spirited per- formance. The band did not relax, but continued to improve until they were, beyond any doubt, one of the finest in our school's history. The Concert Season reached its apex at the Spring Con- cert. For the first time a Mayville Senior Band gave an indi vidual concert comprising music from moderate to extreme difficulty. This was the most advanced concert given to this date and was quite successful as those present will testify. L. Smith, R. Davidson, N. Marlow, Director F. Pliska, M. Harris, S. Gohs, D. Turner, D.
