We wish to pay tribute to our Mayville High School Band of 1962 under the direction of Mr. Frank Pliska, for having brought high honors to our school in the field of music. They received a Number 1 rating at the Dis- trict Festival in Pigeon. This entitles the band to compete with the best bands from all over the State of Michigan. They received a Number 3 rating after having participated in the State Festival. Our band showed outstanding talent by playing at each home football and basketball game.
