'Aren't you glad you use Dial? Seniors Present “Captain Fantastic” The senior class presented Captain Fantastic, a three act comedy by Tim Kelly, in the high school auditorium. Nov. 19 and 20. The play centered around Waldo Puppybreath, a comic book fanatic and editor of the 'Weekly Bunyan, the school newspaper. Waldo found himself in a heap of trouble with many unusual characters. Ms. Clinger, biology teacher, wanted him to be replaced as editor; Mr. Bip, the scrupulous land owner wanted him expelled; Ratso Finkle, a junior edition of the Godfather, was sabotaging the prom queen contest; and Mrs. Potter, the school principal, was investigating him for a robbery which he never committed. These characters and many more provided an action- packed two hours that kept the audience laughing. Besides cast members, the production crew included John Julian. Todd Muse. Derek Whaley. Sherry Smith, Amy Haughaboo, Patricia Holmes. Becky Gill, and Mary Jones. Mrs. Paula Ford was director of the corned Waldo. I’ve told you a thousand times 11
