MHS This Year? This is an unfamiliar sight at Walton Field this year because there is no football at MHS. The program was discontinued because too few boys went out for the team. Mrs. Madonna Hedger is director of the Learning Disabilities These students made up the wedding party when Mrs. Brothers' Family Program begun this year at the high school and the Jr. High. Living class staged a mock wedding this spring. The Advocate Staff sponsored the first Carnation Day this year in February. The play centered around a young hypochondriac who mistakenly overheard his docter say he had only one night to live. Xavier Meerseman of Belgium and an exchange stu- dent at Mason County gave a very in- teresting talk at one meeting. On another occasion, Maysville High's own foreign ex- change student, Neydinha Marchi from Brazil, spoke to the club. At Christmas time, the club collected food and toys which members delivered to a needy family. To wind up the year, the annual picnic was held at Rotary Park, with the faculty and their families as guests.
