ADVISOR: Mrs. Nancy Markwell Copy Editor Kristi Pitakis hard at work. 4 The 1978-79 yearbook staff has worked very hard to present this year's yearbook, Signs of 79. In order to help finance the book, we sold pom poms during the football season and worked concessions at basketball games. In the spring, our time was spent collecting patrons, selling the book, and getting it ready for production. This year, almost every staff member contributed in some way to the result, which we sincerely hope is a yearbook that students can enjoy again and again. The festive occasion began with a parade and pep rally on the afternoon of October 6 and continued through the dance held in the MHS gym. Music for the dance was provided by John DeSpain and refreshments were served by members of the FHA. Even though the Bulldogs lost the football game to Fairview, 14-7, the overall success of the 1978 Homecoming will long be remembered. Many thanks to the Student Council who spon- sored it.
