Hi-Y is a club in which young men enjoy friendship and fellow- ship. The highlight of the year was the annual initiation of new mem- bers in October. Hi-Y also con- trolled concessions at a basketball game and went to a Cincinnati Reds' game in the spring. Guidance Advisory Committee The guidance committee was formed by Mr. Greg Perkins, guidance counselor at M.H.S. The committee consists of stu- dents, faculty members, and cit- izens of Maysville. Its function is to evaluate and, if possible, improve the guidance service at M.H.S. The guidance office exists to assist students in educa- tional and vocational choices and plans, to assess and understand students’ abilities and interests, and to aid students in making social as well as personal adjust- ments.
