Homecoming Walton Memorial Football Field was a scene of drama, defeat, excite- ment , and glory as M. H. S. celebrated their fifth annual Homecoming. The Bulldogs, full of pep and spirit, strove for their sixth consecutive victory, but were halted by Ludlow's fighting determination. Although the half-time score proved discouraging, the half-time activities of the crowning of the new Homecom- ing queen provided immense excite- ment for the student body of M.H.S. Even though all the attendents were worthy of the title of Homecoming queen, Miss Jo Morton received the honor of being crowned Homecoming Queen of 1974. She was crowned by Miss Valerie Poe, Homecoming Queen of 1973. After the game M. H. S. alumni and student body were gra- ciously hosted with dance provided by the Student Council.

Senior Play On November 19, the Senior Class of '75 presented Winifred Wolfe's Ask Any Girl. The play was a delightful comedy in three acts. The plot evolved around Meg Wheeler, a small town girl who moves to New York. Meg finds romance and adventure in everything she does. Meg finds herself a job with Doughton and Doughton and supposedly falls in love with Evan, the youngest Doughton, but not for long. Meg finally realizes that she has been overwhelmed with Miles, the older Doughton. As it ends, Meg and Miles live happily ever after. The thirty Seniors who made up the cast, stage crew, and make-up applicators, gave three per- formances; one for junior high students, one for high school students, and one for the public. We would like to congratulate the Seniors on a job well done. The Seniors would like to give thanks and appreciation to Miss Mary Beth Helton, the director, for all the work she did to help and guide them to success.
