Class Historr We started school this year with that wonderful old feeling. This was our last year in high school and we intended to make the most of it, which is just what we have done. In October we gave a bingo with the Juniors which was a great success. In November the Juniors, Sophomores, and Seniors presented the annual Thanksgiving Play, Men Are Like Streetcars , which was a great success. Those participating in the play from the Senior class were: Stella Cole, Jesse Hord, Barbara Combess, Elizabeth Logan, and Jo Ann Henson. Of course we must mention our class trip and'corxr.encement exercises. We have planned our trip to Washington, D. C., for April 18-20. We are especially looking forward to Commencement which the majority of us consider the most important day in the seventeen or eighteen years of our lives. Have you room for more memories? O.K. Let's take a look back into our Junior year. We were now upper classmen. Our officers were: Ruth Marshall, President; Stella Cole, Vice-President; Connie Day, Secretary; Jesse Hord, Treasurer. It was the year that Miss Collins started teaching American History and what a time we hadl And poor Miss Brannen hadn't thought it possible that students of our age could be so indifferent to the English language. We gave our Prom for the Seniors in May. This may sound bragging, but really, we think it was the best Prom given in many years. The gym was decorated with a fascinating Starlight theme. Pack all those in well 'cause there's more memories from our Sophomore year. Miss Brannen was our advisor and there were 33 of us. I suppose every class has one slow year and this was ours. It seemed as if the Sophomores had spring fever all year long. In our freshman year we were a bir class of 38. Of the graduating class this time we have two seniors that have gone their 12 years to May's Lick High; they are Sandra Sledd and Alice Dovle. There's a lot to remember, but these memories will probably bring other enjoyable events to your mind. One thing every one has to admit is that the class of 'p2 really has left its name in May's Lick School.
