SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The Senior Class of 1951 has seventeen members consisting of students from Washington, May's Lick, Sardis, and Lewisburg. Five of the members of our class have attended May's Lick for twelve years. They are: John Alexander, Paul Collins, Clinton Gal- lagher, Reba Cobb, and Sue Gifford. Joining the class in the fourth grade was Mariola Rice, coming from lewisburg. From Moorefield came Wilma Lyons in the sixth grade. In the seventh grade Fatsy Welsh came from Cinncinnati and Wilbur Gulley from Flemingsburg. At the beginning of the freshman year coming from Sardis were Billy and Mary Leslie Hitt, Gordon Throckmorton and Ivan Cracraft. At the end of the freshman year we lost eight members; Billy Carpenter, Betty Dillion, Christine Jackson, George Linville, Harold Reed, Emmitt Myers, and Harold Carpenter. In our Sophomore year we welcomed Dorothy Hodge from Greenville, West Virginia; Barbara McDow- ell, Kenneth Follraer, and Betty Guy from Washington; Barbara Car- penter from Maysville; and Russell Newdigate and Eugene Sapp from Lewisburg. During the year we lost Betty Guy, Joann Henderson, Jackie Fritz, Russell Newdigate, and Eugene Sapp. In our Junior year we gained one new member, Helen Benson, who left at the end of the year. Also leaving were Jewell Cole, Kenneth Follmer, and Bonnie Foe. Coming to May's Lick this year were John Benson from Irvine, and Ramona Myers from Mt. Olivet. Leaving us was Barbara Carpenter who went to Minerva. We are very proud of our graduating class.
