POREWORD The senior Class of 1947 is graduating in the most momentous post-war period ir history. It is a time vhen the rerld seems to be repair- ing its berinjs, emer inf out of a state of un- rest ang uncertainty, having arrived at the de- cision that the most important thing in life is peace and pleasant working conditions between nations and betveen individuals. Four years in this school have been spent in preparation for the vast university of ex- perience. It has been the aim and desire of the faculty and the administration to implant into their minds and hearts those ideals which lead to a deeper understanding of life and a greater appreciation of service to humanity. It is hoped that the characters of these students have been so nurtured and developed that they will go out and make the world better by their having lived. They are facina such a future as has never before been known in history, and the challenge of service beckons them on every side. The Board of sducation, the community and the facutly char e these boys ani girls to be strong, and to quit themselves like meng and they challenge them to unfaltering loyalty, to truth, honesty, justice and to whatsoever thinjs are of good report. hay God bless them, and may they go forth as heralds of Peace and Goodwill.
