yi 7. )orcf Jrom U ie C cfitor We, the staff, have endeavored to make this yearbook, Mayo’s first, one full of memories that will never fade. I hope that this book will be cherished and treasured by each reader for years to come. We have attempted to illustrate, by use of pictures and words, the many sides to any student's life at Mayo: the academic front, in which he prepares himself to provide for his family and himself; the social front, in which he leams how to live with his fellowman; and the organizational front, in which he learns the importance of each person’s performance to the effective performance of any group. All of these combined with each student's own natural aptitudes make Mayo what it is. We hope what has been started this year will continue as a tradition that will give each class a book filled with unfading memories. Ronald Norwood Editor-In-Chief 4
