Sharon Turetsky, English, was born in Providence. R.l. and went to Cranston High. She has a B.S. in English Education and an M.Ed. in Secondary Reading from Boston University. Lawrence Vanaria who teaches Science, was born in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High. His B.S. in Biology is from Sulfolk University and he has done graduate work at Boston University. Linda Wasiuk, Librarian, was born in Binghamton, N.Y. and went to high school in Acton. She has a B.S. from Northeastern and an M.Ed. from Fitchburg State. Martha Whittenrore teaches Physical Education and was born in Newton. She graduated from Stoneleigh Prospect in Greenfield and received her B.S. from Springfield College. George Wing, Science, was born in Dexter, Maine and went to high school there. He has a B.S. and an M.S. His undergraduate work was at the University of Maine and his graduate studies were at Worcester Polytech, Holy Cross and Framingham State. Bruce Pekkala, Social Studies, was born in Concord and graduated from Maynard High. He has a B.A. in Political Science from U. Mass and has done graduate work in Linguistics there. John Sforza was born in Boston and went to Somerville High School. He attended Boston State and Boston College. His degrees are B.S. in Ed., M. Ed. and C.A.G.S. (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study). Beverly-Jean Smith, Art, was born in North Dakota and graduated from Newton High. She has a B.S. from Boston University and an M.A. Ed. Her graduate work was done at University of Pittsburg, Carnegie Institute and Mass. College of Art. Alan Stebbins, Social Studies, was born in Bridgeport, Conn, and went to high school in Fairfield, Conn. He has a B.A. in History from C.W. Post College and Long Island University. He has done graduate work at Long Island Graduate School of Ed., Southern Conn. State and Framingham State. Arthur St. Germain, Mathematics, was born in Waltham and went to St. Mary ' s High School. He has a B.S. from Boston College and an M.S. His graduate work was done at Boston College and Framingham State.
