Maynard Twins Named To All Conference Eleven Maynard — The merits of May- nard high school’s famed twins, Gene and Jerry Robinson are nation wide. Both boys have ibeen named to the All Confer- ence Eleven and will play for Lenior Rhyne when they oppose Pennsylvania ' State Teachers College in the Pythian Bowl at Salisbury, IN ' . C. this Saturday. These Touchdown Twins have amassed the great total of 84 points between them as the Le- nior Rhyne Bears became the highest scoring eleven in North Carolina with 292 points in a ten game schedule of which the only team to beat them was Tampa. Both boys are also star base- ball players and Gene won an All Conference position last spring on the diamond. Both youths were three letter athletes at Maynard lv gh school and are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson.
