It is actuallythe first graduating class made up of students who have been at Evans for the full four years since Evans came into being. We are excited and proud as we became Sophomores and -entered our first year of high school. Before we knew it we were in the middle of all the wonderful games, dances, and other activities. In our Junior year we elected our class officers andbegan many plans in our coun- cil meetings. The most important of these was the Junior-Senior Prom, where we danced in the dreamy atmosphere of Stair- way to the Stars . This alone was enough to make our Junior year end happily. When we returned from our summer vacation, we held our heads high. We were Seniors, and we were determined to make our class the best class in the history of Evans. The long-awaited day came when we finally received our Trojan rings. This made us realize that we had many respon- sibilities, as Seniors, we must set good examples for the rest of the school. Under the leadership of our fine class officers we established Senior privileges which every underclassman looks forward too. We became busy with football, home- coming, basketball, Senior pictures, the Sweetheart Ball, track, baseball, clubs, pro- jects, Senior Tests, homework, and more tests. We also carried on our growing number of traditions: The Christmas Ball, Senior Play, Senior Picnic and the capping ceremony. These memories will be cherished in our hearts forever and our loyalty to Evans will continue to develop. After graduation we realized what a wonderful and successful high school life we have had. But with the tears of sadness came the joy of looking forward toward a successful future.
