Coach Alexander is in his first year at Evans and is doing an excellent job with the Junior Varsity team. Up to this point the J.V.'s have llwins out of 12 starts and are determined to match the record set by last year's team of 20 wins and 1 loss. This year's team lacks in height but has made up for it in determination and hustle. Evans High has cause to be proud of its Junior Varsity team.

Hara' Working Freshman T earn Has Goaa' Year The Evans High Freshman team came out with the best record this year to top off an outstanding basket- ball year for Evans. Under the leadership of Coach Jim Gosnell the hustling little Trojans beat many local teams in exciting and thrilling games. They Worked as a team the entire year and exhibited excellent sportsmanship which is truly amark of an up and com- ing varsity basketball team in the years to come.
