Both Consumer Economics and Psychology introduce the individual to the problems of social and econom- ic behavior. This is achieved by applying the knowledge we have gained during previous years to prob- lems, theories, and questions con- tained in science. We find that we do not use textbooks entirely, but per- form experiments and make observa- tions. Fundamentals studies are u- tilized each day of our lives. We learn to examine prejudices and superstitious in the searching light of information made available through science. The methods and materials are already in our hands. We can live more fully and more in- telligently only by using them.
