Oh, No, ls It For lVle'? As I sit at my desk working on my assignment, I hear the door open. A group of girls walks in, but I think nothing of it. Then I hear my name mentioned and the teacher points toward me. The girls, dressed in red and white, walk over and stand around me. As they begin to sing, one of them sits on my lap. She rubs glitter in my hair and pinches my cheeks, making me feel very embarrassed. Then I Wonder, as they finish the song, who could have sent it to me. Before they leave, they all kiss me on the cheek, making me feel more embarrassed than I am already. As I read to see who it is from, the door opens again and I think: Oh, no, is it for me? Tina Paige was iust: one of rnany people who were glittered upon by Denise Scnuld, Karen Daners and Becky Frost. .Junior high students also participated in the Valentines Day tradition.
