19' 'HL 7fTjl.5X Q ,-f Y Ri In recognition of his athletic excel- lence, the honor of the Athlete of the Year Award has been given to DIDN BECK. l-le has displayed the sports- manship and leadership needed to represent lVlayfair with this fine honor. l-lis athletic career initially began as a freshman and carried on through- out his four years at Nlayfair. l-le was on the basketball team and JV base- ball team during his earlier years. As his talents developed and his motiva- tion increased, Dion went on to letter in both varsity football and baseball. Aside from school, other organiza- tions honored Dion by making him a part of the second All-League Team in baseball as a junior. This was followed his senior year by his participation on the first All-League Team in football and the All-South Coast second team. l-lis accomplishments have and will continue to inspire many younger athletes in lVlayfair's future athletic program. l

Ll- E The title of Athlete of the Year has been bestowed upon DEBBIE DEL RDBAFIID for her exceptional accom- plishments as an athlete. Her talents in the athletic field ex- tend to many different areas. As a freshman, Debbie's athletic career began on the track and cross country teams. Throughout her junior and senior years at Nlayfair, Debbie con- tinued track and played volleyball, varsity basketball and softball. While participating in sports, she has managed to maintain a 3.33 grade point average. She also vvas a member of Nl-iS as a sophomore and as a junior, Sorellas.
