Boys and girls Here IVlr. Hansen Here Any student who has gone through the Hansen experience knows these words like Sprichst du Deutsch. lVlr. Don Hansen has been with the school since the beginning of lvlayfair time. His teaching finesse has mainly been concentrated on languages including German and Spanish, with an occasional dabbling into other social science fields. However, anyone attending a Nlayfair football game would recognize his melodic tones and side remarks as the Voice of the lVlonsoons. Although his authority in the classroom is unquestioned, his image in the eyes of his students is untarnished and positive. Present and former students alike, rate him high on their list of teachers to be remembered. ln his free time. he enjoys his home-away-from-home in lvlexico with his Wife and family. He lives in the local area and can often be seen cruising the streets on his beloved motorcycle. With his pending retirement, the yearbook staff would like to dedicate the 'l 981 -EE Tradewinds to Donald T. Hansen and say, Haste la vista-adios, Teacher and Friend.
