Wrestling Club purchases $3000 mat i;i Officers are: Phil Reyes, president; Steve Weeks. Jan Edwards and Phyllis Mowery. The purpose of Wrestling Club is to support the wres- tling team. The club meets twice weekly to gather statistics. This year the club met every two weeks to plan activities such as picnics, a dance, a carnival and a rock concert. With collections from last year, the wrestling team purchased a $3000 mat, replacing an old and dangerous one. Much of the credit is given to their energetic advisor, Mr. Mike Valentine. m

B GAA plays in flag football tournament Officers: Bonnie Tokamk. president; Sue Gahan, vice-president: Margie Piazza, secretary: Debbie Hemel, treasurer: Jackie Vanderweerd. historian; Sally Whitney, puhhcity; and Kathy Moore (not pictured). Stimulating interest in girls athleties and providing an opportunity for participation and competition is the aim of the Girls Athletic Association. Flag football, badminton, tennis, volleyball, track and archery are a few of the sports in GAA. The organization was in charge of concessions at basketball games this year. Mrs. Sally Poggi is advisor.

« w Hiking Club treks many miles Officers Jerry Zoppa. president Craig Thomas, kathy Haas and Laurel May. Hiking and practicing conservation is the aim of Hiking Cluh. This year the club participated in hikes of all lengths. Their first hike was to Mt. San Gorgornio in the San Bernadino mountains. The club is two years old and was founded by Mayfair ' s 1969 AFS stu- dent. John Knight. Mr. Phillips and Mrs. Lee sponsor the club. Bowling Club is in its fifth year Officers; Larry Emerson, president; Margie Piazza, vice-president; Becky Baker, se cretary. Promoting friendly conipelilion and socialization is the aim of Bowling Club. I he club meets each lucsday after school al the Dutch Village Bowling Alley, I ' here is a new league each semesier. The club has been in existence on campus Iim live ears. Mi. Adams is the faculty sponsor.
