' s have remained unde- feated league champions for three straight years. This year ' s varsity has a record of 12-1 compared to last year ' s record of 11-1. Two years ago their record was 1 1-0, amassing a three year total of 34 victories and only 2 losses. The Cross-Country has won a total of 17 championships, (one under former coach Howard Barnes and 16 under the present coaching of Mr. Nick Street), in the 12 years of competition. This is more than all present schools combined. No other team in history has a record to match. In C.I.F. competition, the varsity has qualified every year since 1963. Finishing in the top 20 on six occasions and as high as 2nd in 1965 when Mayfair got its only C.I.F. trophy. The J.V. ' s have acquired the exact record as the varsity and have also been league champions for three years. The Freshman harriers also captured league honors with a record of seven wins and two losses.
