SENIOR HISTORY Look at those strange berngs darkenrng the sky wrth therr number few hesrtant but most of them eager yet all approachrng fast' As they come nearer we recognrze them they are Scholarrans landrng here to spend a four year vacatron from therr planet Wrth therr landrng the sun shrnes agarn rnakrng the planet Maustodra brrghter by therr comrng The purpose of therr vacatron vrsrt rs to garn new experrences and rnforrnatron to take back to therr people The Maustodran Presrdent Mr Kreseth brds them welcome and promrses that he and hrs cabrnet wrll do everythrng rn therr power to ard and enlrghten them After a few days of armless wanderrng the Scholarrans met to select a leader and to beseech one of the cabrnet to gurde therr feet on thrs strange planet They made Lyle Chandler therr leader wrth Bonnre Ptemrngton lanet Wrrght and Iames Crandall to assrst nrm The Honorable Mrss Benson gurded them upon therr frrst year quest for knowledge After many week the Scholarrans planned a party to add excrtement to therr vacatron and were profrtably reward d by the fun had by all lust before rt was trme for the Scholarrans to return home for a Vrsrt the Maustodrans took them to one of the beautrful lakes near Baraboora Then agarn flyrng rnto the sun they left Maustodra dark and gray untrl therr return the followrng fall The next year was spent much lrke the frrst garnrng rnformatron about the planet Maustodra Some of therr narvete was lost yet most of them showed acceptable abrlrty to understand thrs strange planet New com panrons from the near by planet Lyndonra Jorned the throng rn therr sorourn here The cabrnet member the Honorable Mr Gerhardt was chosen to ard them and they were led by Iohn Lewrs and hrs three cohorts Marrorre Rose Anrta Block and Raymond Reynolds very actrve year was led by Donald Turner wrth Maxyne Hrckok and Harold Wells as helpers and the Cabrnet member Mrss Beck as therr gurde To prove that they had actrng abrlrty they put on a Crazy Mrx Up rn whrch the herorne dressed as a boy to decerve the hero rn order to get some much needed money Nearly all the Scholarrans procured a gold cr culet rn order to remrnd themselves after they had left of days spent rn Maustodra But the greatest event was the Coronatron of therr Krng Harold Wells and hrs Oueen lucrlle Vorgt to the lrrtrng strarns of Drck Harrrs Orchestra Thrs memorable event took place under a blue sky over a garden bower surrounded by prcket fences rnrertwrned wrth rarnbow colored mornrng glorres Led by lane Taylor lnvelaa Artz and I Tremarne McGrnty the Scholar rans began the last year of therr vrsrt to Maustodra Wrfh the ard of Mrss Moore and Mr Knutzen they endeavored o produce a prctorral ecord of therr days on Maustodra Not upset by last years ararnatrc attempt the Scholarrans had a frt of Sprrng Fever a drama long to be remembered by the Maustodrans After many blessrngs grfts and prarses were heaped upon thrs group of young people at the trme of gradcratron they regretfully prepared to leave Where they wrll go nobody lnowe Some wrll probably remarn rn Maus todra others wrll go on to Schorarra and some few wrll rnvestrgate other planets lt would be rnterestrng to watch the progress of each rndrvrdual and we hope all of them wrll endeavor to return some years hence to report therr progress TSI!
