We dedicate In the course of education, we as a student body sit before and admire a great many men and women who come to us in an effort to teach and influence us in the basic principles of sound thinking. It would be impossible to repay this person we have chosen for his outstanding work. He has presented an honest philosophy which without reservation, prejudice, or excep- tion has gained the respect and appreciation from each member of our studentbody. He is one more than worthy; his guidance and understanding has been invaluable to all of us. Willing to contribute to our every need, he has given most freely of his time toward the advancement and betterment of our school. His characteristic philosophy has been cultured in many of us and is being incubated in others. He has graciously overlooked our faults and shortcomings and taken on the responsibility of advising us during our last and important Senior year. Last Will and Testament State of North Carolina County of Greene School of Maury We, the Seniors of Maury High School, being of sound mind and body and realizing om impending departure from this institution of training, do hereby declare this our last will and testament. ARTICLE I To Mr. W. L. May, we the Seniors leave our gratitude for his fairness toward all members of the student body. ARTICLE II To the underclassmen as a whole, we leave such a high standard of achievement that they can never attain. ARTICLE III To our beloved parents, who have sacrificed so much, we leave our deepest love and gratitude and we hope that you can say that your sacrifices have not been in vain.
