Standing under the good-luck horseshoe which decorated the doorway at the Senior Prom. are Wanda McGowan and Raymond Hightower, one of the many couples who enioyed the festive occasion. It looks like everybody is having a good time at the Senior Prom which was held at the Norfolk Yatch and Country Club. Roger Sundahl, Faye Winfield, Donna Lane. Winston Bur roughs. Margaret Wilkinson and Ioanne Saunders probably want to join their many friends Who have already left for college. Nursing- Nursing, a popular profession, drew many of the Maury girls to its conference. With lec- tures, registered nurses inform the students of the nurses training and duties. CAREER DAY Career Day at Maury is a very eventful day. Then we are visited by the representa- tives of many different colleges, trade schools, and the armed services. Sponsored by the Future Teachers of America and the Key Club and their advisors, Miss Gill, and Mr. Lazaretti, this program gives Maury students a chance to decide on their plans for the future. V. M. I.-- How about good old V. M. l., boys? Cox Dowdy and Billy Moore are among the stu- dents considering attending this school. The representative gladly answers their questions and supplies information.
