Commander Yan Lirnburgh reported to the MAURY in February 1962 for duty as Executive Officer. Commander Yan Lirnburgh's decorations include the good conduct medal, with two stars as well as area, victorv, and occupation medals. His wife Fannie and daughter Kristen presently live in Honolulu. In September 1963 the Commander fulfilled a long standing desire and proudly swore his son, Robert, into the Navy.
