CJms off '60 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS ARE LEFT TO RIGHT: Frank Pianalto, Secretary; Aurthur Harned, President; Fr. Alphonse Berning, O. S.B. , Moderator; Tom Homan, Vice-President. We seniors are proud to think that these past four years have been among the most prosperous and beneficial of our lives. As a single group we have worked towards a single goal. To advance spirit- ually, mentally and physically in an ever growing world, has been our goal. Here at Maur Hill the Benedictine Fathers have devoted their time and energy to help us realize this goal. Each of us has learned the true meaning of trial. By combining our efforts with those of our teachers, we have learned to overcome obstacles whether they be great or trivial. Among the members of our class are a number of able leaders who have carried us through the rough spots. Only too well we realize how much we are indebted to our parents and guardi- ans for the sacrifices made on our behalf to provide a good Catholic education and to you, our parents and faculty, we ex- press a sincere gratitude. Life has in store for us many severe trials. What we have learned through our classes, social activities, and sports will provide the solution for many of life's problems. Yes, all of these things together make us a proud class, the class of '60. 16
