 ita . Qojm L One of the more inspirational faculty members was Mr. Galley. Athletes will long, long remember the fiery pep talks he gave in football and baseball. He was re- spected in his Physiology, Citizenship, and Physical Education classes. Also, Mr. Galley coached 'B' basketball, was school's Guidance Councilor, and junior class moderator. Ita. Eugew Completing his second year here at Maur Hill, Mr. Eugene Lazzo instructed Maurites in Consti- tution and Algebra. He coached the Jr. Ravens' line in football, the varsity basketball, and the track team. He was moderator of the freshman class. 11

Fttfcflflw JtAAx)' Fr. Andrew Gottschalk, O.S.B., was in charge of much of the discipline this year. He was prefect of St. Maur Hall and of the dormitory. A great number of students participated enthusiastically in his intramural programs. He taught Algebra I, II, and Religion II EaJtk v 0w6K All right, everybody out, was the familiar cry of Fr. Owen Purcell, O.S.B., prefect of the locker room. As assistant in the intramural program, he provided much of our recreation. He taught Latin I, II, Religion II, and English I. Many of his hours were spent in friendly conversation with us around the locker room. 10

flA u. Edw ul Qt ik In his first year at Maur Hill, Mr. Stork taught General Science and Biology. Being a newcomer was no ob- stacle to his joining the spirit of the school. He participated in in- tramurals, attended ath- letic events faithfully, and became a good friend to many students. U U DfitUuS facCtiAtklJ Mr. Dennis McCarthy instructed the fine art of drawing along with the history of art. He made good impressions on the student's mind with his weekly colored movies. R uihf-fcut uv There are numerous odd jobs plus a regular full time secretarial schedule which Miss Ruth Hansen performs. How- ever, she will al- ways take a few minutes out to assist a student.
