Fctih t Fr. Martin Taylor, O.S.B., completed his second year as Chaplain and prefect of the priesthood students. He guided the St. John Berchman’s Society and taught several classes. Among these were Latin I, II, III, IV, Spanish I and Religion II. Father is one of the most active outdoors men on the fac- ulty. Ctf Returning after a year's absence obtaining a Master's Degree in music is Father Camillus Wurtz, O.S.B. Father took over as head of the Music Departmenl and conducted the band, glee club, and choir. He also gave private instructions to several in- terested students. His regular classes were World History, Religion III, and Latin I. 7

 Eoth i Augu6fat Returning after a long absence, Fr. Augustine Rottering, O.S.B. was a stranger to almost all the Maurites. However, his friendly personality, sin- cerity, and helpful advice quickly overcame this obstacle. He is pastor of Saint Patrick's Parish, teacher of Physics, and advisor of the Radio Club. FaJtk v W In his roles as in- firmiarian and athletic director Fr. Wilferd Fangman, O.S.B. cared for the un- healthy and inspired the healthy. Dramatics Club was formed under his guidance. He taughtEnglish I, and III, as well as speech. The M Club benefited much from his wise advice as moderator. 6

Fftfcfuw' f-fe uufttt Another color in our life here at Maur Hill was Fr. Herman Fangman, O.S.B., with his keen wit. Father taught Religion III, Geometry, Alge- bra I and Mechanical Drawing. He was also prefect of the day-students Mass and the swimming pool. Fctfefuw Qtilyu l! Many of us will recall the hours that Fr. Gabriel sacrificed in our behalf He was a constant reference for mathematics and science students throughout the year. He taught General Science, Trigonometry, and prefected the boarders Mass and St. Placidus Hall. 8
