And each of the sails takes a senior away From the school of Maupin High As our voyage begins We'll remember then And recall afterward with a sigh. For memories will hold through the hours Of life's time clear to the end Memories of High School That port we knew Of work, and play, and friend. May each of us leave, is our last request, Like all of those gone on before Some needed gift To help or lift Some future senior at High School's door. Some few chance words or thoughtful deed Or some experience we went through The high school fun That for us is done We leave in our heritage to you.
