The School Board ★ In addition to the regular duties ot overseeing the annual business of the district, the school board has supervised many valuable improvements. Among them made during this year were the completion of the rock retaining wall on the southwest side of the school grounds, and the turfing of the football field, with an adequate watering system installed for the upkeep of the field. The building was completely renovated, with an improved lighting system in the gym for more efficient service. The new equipment purchased included: Typewriters, science equipment, adjustable shelves, one hundred new books and fifteen magazine subscriptions for the newly located library. These improvements have assisted in retaining the school's membership in The Northwest Association of Secondary and Higher Schools; this membership having been attained for the first time last year. ★ [8] ( J.
