Many of these customs have their roots back in the early :lays of the Smead School: others have spriing up unobtrusively in recent years. Our school is peculiarly our own because of customs such as walking the circle arm in arm, commencement exercises in the garden, sittinfgj by classes in assembly, wassail after our Christmas plays. Of all of our traditions this annual publication is one of the best because it is a repository in words and pictures of so many phases of our school.
