i i VI igers Roar PUBLISHED BY MAUD ANNUAL STAFF MAUD, OKLAHOMA Our Dedication Dickie O’Daniel 1954-1971 Memories of our senior year will always be saddened because Dickie O’Daniel did not spend it with us. We, the yearbook staff, and all the members of the senior class wish to dedicate our 19T2 Tigers Roar to his memory TO LIVE IN HEARTS WE LEAVE BEHIND, IS NOT TO DIE. Campbell ADMINISTRATION Administration Mr. Dewbre attended Southwestern State College at Weatherford, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to receive his Master’s from the University of Oklahoma. He has also done work on his doctorate at OSU. Mr. Dewbre has 23 years teaching experience, of which 18 of those years were in administration. Before coming to Maud, Mr. Dewbre was super- intendent of schools at Billings, Oklahoma. T. O. DEWBRE Superintendent Mr. Shero attended Eastern A M College, Wil- burton, for two years and continued at Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Bach- elor of Science degree in 1957. Oklahoma State Fair Parade - 3rd place in Street Marching Division. East Central State College Homecoming Parade. Stratford-Maud Playoff Game (Half-time show televised). Welleetka Band Contest. East Central District Concert Contest at Shawnee. Annual Spring Concert. The Tiger Band performed at all football games and some of the basketball games. Fourteen band members tried out for the East Central All-District band. Chris McKinney was named to this band, in the high school division, Diane LeCompte was named to the Jr. High Division, and Ronnie Silas was named as an alternate.
