Dedication to Parents. We are ail striving to gain an education and could not achieve this education without the help of our parents. The first days of school brought both smiles and tears. Our parents were sad to see their “pride and joy” leave home to begin their first days alone at school, but proud because they knew of the benefits an education brings. We’ve ail failed and succeeded at one time or another, but our parents always comforted or praised us, whatever the occasion called for. When we got a sudden ache or pain, usually on a test day, they’d give us a choice to go to school or a trip to the doctor. We always ended up at school. When we’d just have to have a sponsor for a class party some cetrain mother would always get volunteered. No wonder they get grey hairs. They put up with a lot for twelve solid years, but on graduation day you’ll find Mom and Dad shedding a few tears when they recall all the days gone by and begin to realize that they’ll have to bid their child good-bye. Some of the Seniors will continue on to college, or go to the service, and others will be married. Some will obtain jobs that their education made possible by our parents’ help, love, understanding and guidance. We wish to say a special thank you, Mom and Dad, a thank you filled with love and appreciation.
